COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS

Communities In Schools (CIS) is the nation’s leading high school dropout prevention organization. Since its founding in 2007, its Los Angeles chapter has grown to serve over 10,000 students and families per year at 10 public schools. As a PR Consultant for CISLA, which is housed under power agency CAA, I was responsible for handling publicity relations for the educational non-profit and talent management for special guests, which included Coldplay, Robert Downey, Jr., Reese Witherspoon, Ali Larter, Molly Sims, Jason Collins and others.
